On the pitch, Liverpool are dominating their opponents, but off the pitch in the transfer market, things are heating up.
Not only have Liverpool got to deal with their self-made contract saga, but the success of other players is creating an allure from rival clubs.

Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk have now all reportedly received contract offers from the club, so we'll have to wait and what happens there.
However, fans are now concerned that some of the other players may be looking at exiting the club in the near future.
Coaimhin Kelleher has made his feelings very clear that he wants regular minutes in goal, and while Alisson is Liverpool's No1, he doesn't see that happening, so he will be discussing his options at the end of the season.
In addition, Alisson himself, while clarifying that he loves the club and is very open to tying himself down long-term, mentioned in an interview recently that he is not against a return to his boyhood club, Internacional in Brazil before the end of his career.
And so while players devote themselves to the club, you've got to keep a watchful eye on any hints that players may drop.
In a recent interview, Alexis Mac Allister dropped one such hint.
Mac Allister's complimentary attitude to Real Madrid
Speaking to AS, Mac Allister discussed all things concerning Liverpool's recent win over Los Blancos.
He said: "The team was very happy because we were able to display our style of play regardless of the result. I always say that I am privileged to be surrounded by players who allow me to play better. I am happy to be here and to have the teammates I have. The group feels very confident.
"It was a nice and special thing to score a goal against them. For me, Real Madrid is one of the best teams in the world. It was special to play against them and score a goal on a Champions League night that I really enjoyed. Now, I want more."
Now these quotes may seem very innocuous, but he then goes on to talk about Argentina's participation in the Finalissima, against Spain and how much he appreciates the team and the country.
In response to the question, 'do you see yourself playing in Spain one day?', he added: "Yes, why not? It's a country I like a lot and I've visited it several times, and, above all, because of the language and the culture, it's very similar to Argentina.
"I would definitely like to play in Spain one day. But right now, I'm very comfortable at Liverpool and I don't think about what might happen in the future."
While not outright saying that he wants to play for Real Madrid in the future, it is clear that Mac Allister is hinting at something and not wanting to cause a storm by telling us how he really feels.
On the face of it, it's a really innocent interview, but given the context of Liverpool's contract saga, Alisson and Kelleher's hints to possible exits, and the club's long-term rivalry with Real Madrid, it's a little concerning.
Real Madrid to get one over Liverpool again?
In footballing terms, Liverpool's rivalry with Real Madrid has been captivating, with Arne Slot managing to set the record straight in the Reds 2-0 in the Champions League a few weeks ago.
However that win broke a streak of losses that had extended to 2009, so Liverpool were often on the brunt end of a defeat over the recent years.
But, now that order has been restored, Liverpool need to focus on things off the pitch - contracts and transfer negotiations.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is considered to be 50-50 on a move to Madrid in stead of extending his stay on Merseyside, and so the situation is a little tense.
Mohamed Salah has also had links reported to Los Blancos, and Ryan Gravenberch is the latest reported name to be on Madrid's shopping list.
And now we have this hint from Mac Allister, which brings up an old wound that Liverpool thought had been put to bed.
In a story released during the summer, claims emerged about the Argentine midfielder having a release clause with the Reds, and that Madrid were heavily interested in bringing him to Spain.
Liverpool sources rubbished those claims, and the player's father came out in favour of the Reds, claiming that Mac Allister has no intention of moving away and that the club would have to have been consulted first.
For the time being, it seems fair to take Mac Allister's quotes at face value and rest assured that he will be a player Liverpool can count on, but while Real Madrid are constantly lurking, it seems likely that they will renew their efforts if he's a player they truly desire.
