The Friedkin Group are more likely to complete the Everton takeover next week rather than this week, according to Alan Myers.
The Sky Sports news editor claims that the takeover is now days away from being completed and it could happen in the week starting 16th December.
It’s down to the Premier League to give them the green signal before they can take over the reins at Goodison Park.
Myers wrote on X: “More likely next.”
Everton fans have every reason to be excited about the takeover
The club now seems more in the hands of the Friedkin Group than ever before.
With the completion of the takeover, the new ownership will have the authority to make pivotal decisions regarding the club’s management, including the future of Sean Dyche and strategic moves in the transfer window.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
The group’s financial prowess and experience with football clubs like AS Roma suggest they are well-positioned to address the Toffees challenges, from squad enhancement to potentially resolving the financial fair play issues.
Given how unpopular Farhad Moshiri has been at the helm, the ball is now in their court to steer the club towards a new era.
Fans certainly will be excited for a change of guard as they have grown sick of watching Moshiri drive the side to the ground.
Exciting times do seem to be on the cards in the near future and fans surely cannot wait for it to happen.
In other Everton news, Sean Dyche was “furious” at a Toffees player even though he made the headlines for the right reasons v Wolves.
