Liverpool press conference LIVE - Arne Slot and Ryan Gravenberch on transfers, contracts and Girona

Arne Slot speaks to the media in a press conference during the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 League Phase MD5 training and press conference at Anfield on November 26, 2024

Liverpool are back in action on Tuesday evening when they face Girona in the Champions League. The Reds have had a few days off after the postponement of the Merseyside derby.

It means Arne Slot could have a few players back from injury for the trip to Spain, with Diogo Jota and Alisson Becker both a part of open training before the squad boarded their flight on Monday morning.

Liverpool are currently top of the Champions League standings, with three games remaining of the league phase and a win is likely enough to see them through in the top eight, meaning they won't have to navigate an extra qualifying round in February.

Ryan Gravenberch will join Slot to speak about the upcoming game, with the Reds boss likely to be quizzed about the title race, transfers and, of course, contracts after news broke on Sunday that an offer has been made to Mohamed Salah.

Ian Doyle is in Spain for the ECHO to bring you live updates from Slot and Gravenberch, with colour and analysis ahead of the big game against Girona.
