Liverpool are going through a bit of an injury crisis at the moment with the sheer volume of games they’ve had to play seemingly catching up to them.
Not that you could tell by the results on the pitch. The Reds sit top of both the Premier League and Champions League tables, having dropped points in only three games in all competitions this season so far.

Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Diogo Jota, Conor Bradley, Kostas Tsimikas and Federico Chiesa have all been sidelined recently or currently still are.
And as soon as some positive news is shown - Alisson and Jota are both back in training - another disaster strikes.
Promising midfielder Tyler Morton has picked up a knock and won’t be travelling to Spain with the squad for the game against Girona tomorrow.
Tyler Morton might miss his Liverpool chance
Despite only getting significant minutes in Liverpool’s League Cup games this season, Morton has been a mainstay of matchday squads, making the bench for every first-team game since Chelsea’s visit to Anfield on 20th October.
And registering an assist in the League Cup fourth round against Brighton is a serious indication of what Morton could bring to the side.
Whilst Morton’s injury may not be too severe, currently described as a minor complaint, next week’s League Cup quarter final against Southampton seemed like a real opportunity for Morton to again show the quality that led to Jurgen Klopp calling him ‘exceptional’.
Liverpool are a little short on midfield help in Spain, with Alexis Mac Allister suspended also. And even though a starting trio of Ryan Gravenberch, Curtis Jones and Dominik Szoboszlai is more than acceptable, the Reds are another injury away from a serious problem.
As a result, under-21 star James McConnell is in the travelling squad for the Champions League clash.
He gives Liverpool a necessary body alongside Wataru Endo and Harvey Elliott as midfield backup.
