Barbastro chief Josan Fierro says he’s “super happy” to have drawn [Barcelona again in the Copa del Rey](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2024/12/9/24316920/barcelona-draw-barbastro-in-copa-del-rey-last-32) and has warned the Catalans his team will be out for revenge when they meet.
Barcelona narrowly beat the minnows 3-2 last season and the Barbastro chief is thrilled to be facing the Catalans once more.
> “We are super happy,” he said. “It is a joy that it is FC Barcelona and we can also have revenge for last year, when we were close.

> “If four months ago they had told me that we were going to get through a knockout round, I wouldn’t have believed it, and on top of that we have gotten through two (against Amorebieta and then Espanyol). It is a huge joy.”
Fierro also joked that the two teams should meet every year after being paired together for the second season running.
> “We have to establish this match as a Christmas match. Last year it was on January 7th and this year it will seem like it will be on the 4th or 5th. They should come to Barbastro and have a good time. Then we will compete against them as we did last year,” he added.
