Manchester United will hope to return to winning ways when they face Czech side Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on Thursday.
Ruben Amorim’s side suffered a second successive defeat on Saturday as they were beaten 3-2 by Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese had guided his side to wins against Bodo/Glimt and Everton after a draw against Ipswich Town, but the Red Devils have since lost to both Arsenal and Forest.
That run of results leaves United 13th in the Premier League table, and they also have work to do in the Europa League where they sit 12th, with only the top eight sides qualifying automatically for the knockout stage of the competition.
Off the pitch, it appears that United are one of a number of top European clubs interested in a Croatian midfielder.
As per CaughtOffside, Man United are among an array of clubs chasing Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Martin Baturina, 21.
The Croatia international has been in fine form for Dinamo this season, registering seven assists in 21 games across all competitions.
Baturina is a target for some of Europe’s biggest clubs
He has already played more than 140 times for his boyhood club, having progressed through their youth ranks and into the first team setup.
Baturina has scored 18 goals and provided an impressive tally of 34 assists during his time in the first team.
It is claimed that Manchester City, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona have all also shown interest in the attacking midfielder.
French champions Paris Saint-Germain are believed to be in pole position to land the Croat at present, as they work on a proposed deal to sign him for a fee in the region of £20 million.
Dinamo, however, are said to be adamant that the youngster is not for sale.
He is contracted to the club until 2028, and Dinamo could therefore reject any offers for him either in the upcoming January window or next summer.
