Liverpool coach Arne Slot has confirmed if Alisson Becker is ready to start against Girona tomorrow.
Liverpool play their sixth UEFA Champions League game on Tuesday, with kickoff set for 5.45pm GMT.
The Reds are sitting pretty in the Champions League table, with five wins from their first games, the only team with a 100% winning record.
Arne Slot’s side beat Real Madrid 2-0 last time out and look all but set to routinely claim a place in the knockout rounds, meaning Slot can perhaps afford to rotate.
Several players have returned to training, with Liverpool No. 1 Alisson Becker one of the recent injury returnees.
The Brazilian has been away from the Liverpool starting XI for some time after getting injured in October.
However, he is back in contention for a place in the starting XI and was part of the Reds 19-man party that travelled to Girona for the club’s UEFA Champions League game against Girona.
Speaking during the pre-game press conference for the Champions League tie, Liverpool coach Slot was asked if the Brazilian shot-stopper is ready to start the game on Tuesday, and he said this:
“Yes, Alisson is ready to start tomorrow.”
