Ipswich Town Women will face Manchester City in the fourth round of the Adobe Women's FA Cup if they can see off AFC Bournemouth this weekend.

The third-round tie against the Cherries was due to be played yesterday afternoon, but it was postponed due to Storm Darragh. The clash has been rearranged for Sunday, December 15th, with kick-off in Felixstowe at 1pm.

Should the Tractor Girls progress in that match, they will face a trip to Women's Super League heavyweights Manchester City, who currently occupy second place in the top flight.

Gareth Taylor's side finished runners-up behind Chelsea last season, losing out on the title via goal difference. They last won it in 2016 and also have three Women's FA Cup titles to their name, most recently lifting it behind closed doors at Wembley in 2020.

They boast a number of top-level players, such as Vivianne Miedema, Chloe Kelly, Lauren Hemp and Alex Greenwood. The latter three all helped England win the UEFA Women's Championship in 2022.

Ipswich Town Women are currently unbeaten in the southern section of the Women's National League, boasting a record of nine wins and two draws. Joe Sheehan's team sit top of the division as a result, three points clear of Hashtag United with a game in hand.
