FanDuel Sports to air Hawks’ NBA Cup quarterfinal game against Knicks

Hawks fans have another option to catch Wednesday's NBA Cup quarterfinal between the Hawks and Knicks at Madison Square Garden. FanDuel Sports Network announced Monday that it added the game to its broadcast schedule. The game will air on ESPN as well.

Fans will hear play-by-play legend Bob Rathbun call the game on on FanDuel Sports Network Southeast alongside analyst Brian Oliver, with Tabitha Turner providing reports from the sideline. Treavor Scales will host Hawks Live and will be joined by analyst Jon Babul.

The Hawks earned their bid to the knockout stage of the NBA Cup after putting up a 3-1 record in group play with wins over the Celtics, Wizards and Cavaliers. The Hawks won Group East C but did not rack up enough point differential to earn a seed higher than third in the Eastern Conference.

The knockout rounds are single-elimination games played in NBA team markets on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Knicks earned the second seed and the right to host after beating the Magic.

If the Hawks beat the Knicks on Wednesday, they head to the semifinals, to face the winner of the quarterfinal between the Bucks and Magic. If they prevail, they advance to the championship to face the Western Conference winners.
