Although rookie guard Bronny James grew up around the NBA, he isn't the exception to traditional rookie hazing in the league. The Los Angeles Lakers may have a number of familial relationships with some of the league's biggest superstars, but during the team's previous win against the Portland Trail Blazers, Anthony Davis and Bronny's dad, LeBron James, showed the world none of that matters when you officially enter the big leagues.

Footage captured from the Lakers bench late in the fourth quarter shows Davis walking towards the end of the bench where Bronny was seated next to his dad. After a few quick words from Davis, the very next thing you see is Bronny standing up out of his seat and both LeBron and Davis bursting into laughter.
It may come as a surprise that the son of arguably the greatest basketball player ever would experience hazing as an NBA Rookie, but LeBron made it clear he couldn't wait to give his son the rookie treatment.
In fact, shortly after Bronny was selected by the Lakers as the 55th pick, Nike released a campaign of All-Star forward LeBron pranking his son and now teammate with a car full of cereal.

It's unclear how much hazing Bronny is experiencing as a Laker, but as the young guard continues getting his feet wet playing at the highest level, he seemingly does a good job maintaining a great attitude. Viewers were able to share a good laugh as the video circulated, possibly because Bronny was also laughing and in good spirits as well.
In the Lakers' win against Portland, Bronny contributed a huge block on the defensive end that continues going viral all over social media. Many fans reacted to the big-time defensive play alluding to flashbacks of the viral "BLOCKED BY JAMES" moment from his future Hall-of-Fame Dad.

The Lakers snapped a three-game losing streak in the win against the Blazers and now prepare to hit the road to face Minnesota on Friday. The team will then return home to face the Memphis Grizzlies before heading up north for a back-to-back battle with the Sacramento Kings.
