A headline member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid led the voting for the latest FIFPRO World XI.
The player in question? Jude Bellingham.
The 2024 FIFPRO team was of course unveiled to the public earlier today.
And it was dominated by Real Madrid stars, with no fewer than six inclusions having come from Carlo Ancelotti’s squad past and present.
This sextet consists of Dani Carvajal, Antonio Rüdiger, Toni Kroos, Jude Bellingham, Vinícius Jr. and Kylian Mbappé.
As alluded to above, though, one Blancos star managed to secure for himself more votes on the part of his fellow players than any other.
As per Bleacher Report, Jude Bellingham was the individual in question.
All told, reigning La Liga Player of the Year Bellingham received 11,176 votes, meaning a whopping 53% of voters put forward the name of the England international for the FIFPRO XI.
