The NBA has named Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic and Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro [the players of the week](https://x.com/NBAPR/status/1866219013677928737) for the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively.
Herro averaged 25.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists over four games to help the Heat to a 3-1 record. Doncic nearly averaged a triple-double with 29.3 points, 11.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game as the Mavs went a perfect 3-0.
In the Western Conference, other nominees included Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards, Oklahoma City Thunder teammates Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams, Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic and Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis.
In the Eastern Conference, other nominees included Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown, Philadelphia 76ers teammates Paul George and Tyrese Maxey, Charlotte Hornets forward Brandon Miller, Cleveland Cavaliers big Evan Mobley and Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic.
No Portland Trail Blazers players received nominations this week.
