One of the most significant longer-term injuries has been to striker Diogo Jota, who suffered a rib injury during the 2-1 win over Chelsea on October 20th.

Premier League official David Coote has had his employment TERMINATED with immediate effect after a video showed him insulting Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp.

After he became the laughingstock of social media for his comments about the club, the PGMOL opened an investigation into the video, and he was suspended during the international break.

The FA subsequently also investigated Coote's comments for potentially using xenophobic language about Klopp, using his nationality in his disapproval of the former manager.

Now, almost four weeks after the video was published, the PGMOL has laid out its stance in full, deciding it had no choice but to terminate his contract.

For the former, it's new contracts, that are on the agenda with offers being made to Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah in a bid to keep them at the club beyond their current deals.

For the latter, it was all about the free agency market in the baseball off-season with the MLB's rising superstar Juan Soto up for grabs for the Red Sox.

But while FSG expected to get major deals over the line this week that could potentially end up costing them a billion dollars, it has proved to be a disappointing start.
