The Clean Aviation joint undertaking will launch its third annual call for proposals in February 2025, with €380 million in EU funding, mostly for research related to regional and short-medium range aircraft.
For the first time, [the call](https://www.clean-aviation.eu/clean-aviation-to-launch-its-third-call-for-proposals-in-february-2025) will dedicate €15 million to three fast track areas, in which projects must be led by SMEs, universities or research centres, who will benefit from simplified application processes.
The fast track is a way “to harvest potential solutions which are sometimes off road and not really part of the catalogue of technologies of the large \[companies\],” said Sébastien Dubois, head of programme development at Clean Aviation.
