“The truth is” – Enzo Fernandez opens up about Chelsea in an interview this week

Chelsea vice-captain Enzo Fernandez has been opening up about Chelsea in an interview that has just come out this week.

The Blues are preparing to make a super long trip to play their next Europa Conference League match on Thursday night, and it is not yet clear whether players like Fernandez will be making the long journey ahead of another Premier League match against Brentford on Sunday night.

It looks like Chelsea’s game against Brentford is allowed to have a later kick off at 7pm, which will be down to the travel that Chelsea have to do on the Thursday/Friday. They are playing against Astana who play in the Kazakhstan Premier League, making this away trip one very ridiculous one!

But it has to happen, and whether Fernandez is there or not remains to be seen. But the Argentine has turned his fortunes around lately and has once again become an important player for Enzo Maresca in Chelsea’s first team.

Fernandez is back in form!

He has looked like a completely different beast in recent matches, coming up with many more goals and assists, something that he needed to add more to in his game.

And Chelsea’s form has had people talking about them being title contenders this season, and that is what Fernandez has been speaking about.

He said:

“The truth is there’s still a long way to go, almost half the season, it’s a lot. Obviously, one always dreams, as a team we dream. Could we win a title this season? I think we’ve been doing things very well and obviously, yes, we want to. Let’s dream and we’re going to keep working and staying focused on what we want.”
