Since his arrival at FC Barcelona, Hansi Flick has picked a very clear set of players whom he trusts the most and whom he plays in most of the matches.
Although the German is not too shy to rotate these trusted players, this situation is still causing uncertainty to appear for some of the players who are not getting too many minutes on the pitch.
One such player is Ansu Fati, who has once again seen his season getting ravaged by injuries, and who can leave the Blaugrana club on loan in January to look for more minutes on the pitch.
Another player who can do so is center-back Eric Garcia, as he has seen his minutes dry up after a promising start to the season in which he missed only 1 of the first 9 games.
In this initial phase of the season, he played mainly as a midfield pivot, but getting minutes in this position has become somewhat difficult for him as Gavi is now the preferred deputy for the starter Marc Casado.
Similarly, he has not been able to get many minutes in his natural position as a center-back either, as Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez continue to play every match, and this situation is going to worsen further as Ronald Araujo and Andreas Christensen get nearer to their returns to availability.

In such a situation, his future at the Catalan club is not very assured, and SPORT reports that the player and FC Barcelona can sit down to discuss his options and decide on his future in the winter window.
The €20m-rated defender will have two options in January, remain at Barcelona in search of minutes or leave for another club on loan. However, a permanent transfer away will not be considered till next summer.
The Premier League can be a good option for him, as he has experience playing in that competition with Manchester City, and there are not many defenders in England as good as Garcia at playing the ball out of the defense.
Thus, unless another injury happens and Flick has to resort to Garcia, it is likely that the defender will leave Barcelona in the upcoming winter window.
