**Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on the Galatasaray winger Baris Alper Yilmaz.**
According to [TBR Football](https://tbrfootball.com/west-ham-watched-25m-forward-play-on-sunday-with-january-move-now-possible/), the player was in action on Sunday against Sivasspor and scouts from Tottenham were present to watch the player in action. The attacker has seven goals and an assist to his name in all competitions this season and he could prove to be a quality addition to the Spurs attack.
The player is reported valued at £25 million and Tottenham certainly have the financial muscle to get the deal done. They will face competition from Premier League rivals, Liverpool, who are keen on signing the player as well. It will be interesting to see where the Turkish international attacker ends up.

The opportunity to move to the Premier League can be quite exciting for the player and it would be a major step up for him. He would get to play in a big club alongside top-quality players, and he could push for trophies with Tottenham as well.
The North London club have had a mediocre start to the season and they will be desperate to bounce back strongly. They will look to secure UEFA Champions League qualification for the next season and it remains to be seen whether they can bring in the right players during the January window. They need to improve their squad to finish the season strongly.
Meanwhile, Liverpool need attacking reinforcements as well. Mohamed Salah will be out of contract in the summer of 2025, and it is no surprise that they are looking at potential alternatives. It will be interesting to see if they can beat Tottenham to his signature. Both clubs should be able to afford his asking price, and they will be an attractive destination for the player.
