Jamie O’Hara and Jason Cundy hit out at West Ham United fans for leaving the stadium early during the 2-1 win over Wolves on Monday.
The talkSPORT duo weren’t impressed with the empty seats inside the London Stadium on 9 December as the Hammers beat Gary O’Neil’s men, with goals from Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen.
Soucek found the back of the net to give the Irons the lead, and while Wolves managed to equalise, Bowen scored the winner in the 72nd minute, but many supporters left their seats before the final whistle had blown.
Speaking on talkSPORT [9 December], Cundy said: “The amount of empty seats there were with five minutes to go in the game, it was terrible.”
O’Hara added: “With eight minutes to go, it was half empty.”

Cundy continued: “The fans, it felt like they just wanted to go home and couldn’t be bothered to wait for the result.”
West Ham United fans have had enough of Julen Lopetegui
At this point, it’s safe to say that the Irons’ faithful have had enough of Julen Lopetegui at the East London club.
The Spanish head coach arrived in the summer with high expectations but has failed to deliver despite having a quality squad at his disposal.
Tim Steidten and the recruitment team made some impressive additions to the team in the previous transfer window, but the 58-year-old manager has failed to bring the best out of them.
West Ham may have won against Wolves, but the performance was far from encouraging.
The Hammers supporters have already expressed their feelings regarding Lopetegui, chanting for him to be sacked during the 3-1 loss to Leicester at the King Power.
David Sullivan has only delayed the inevitable by keeping the Spaniard in the dugout for longer, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him be sacked in the coming days.
The Irons deserve better and shouldn’t be languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League table, hoping to avoid relegation.
The gesture at the London Stadium on Monday shows once again that the fans have lost faith in the management of the East London club.
