The Cincinnati Bengals kept their extremely slim hopes of a playoff berth alive with a 27-20 road victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night.
But while a wild finish complete with a blocked punt that nearly put the Cowboys in prime position to pull out a victory is the headliner, questions about looming offseason decisions continue to arise.
Following Monday's game, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow addressed one of the most pressing topics the franchise will face after the year - the future of wide receiver Tee Higgins. While Higgins is playing under the franchise tag this year, he's slated to become a free agent in the offseason, and many signs point to him likely leaving Cincinnati.
Unless Burrow has any say in the matter.
Burrow gave a strong answer to Higgins and the Bengals' contract situation. As Olivia Ray of WLWT Cincinnati revealed, he also vowed to do his best to keep the wideout in town.
"I'm confident we're going to be able to do what it takes to get Tee [Higgins] back," Burrow said. "I know that I'm going to do what it takes to get him back."
