Liverpool can move another step closer to the Champions League last-16 today as it takes on Girona.
Arne Slot’s side will be looking to make it six wins out of six in Europe as arrives in Spain, and maintain its position at the top of the league phase standings. Having seen off defending champions Real Madrid last time out at Anfield, the Reds are in a superb position to reach the latter stages of the competition.
They are already guaranteed a spot in the extra play-off round at the very least, and a win today would surely be enough to see them secure a top eight finish and go straight into the last-16, which would come as a huge boost amid an already packed schedule.

Early team news
Alisson Becker looks set to make his return to the side today after being included in the traveling squad, with Slot confirming the Brazilian is fit to start. Having been given a rare weekend off following the postponement of the Merseyside derby against Everton, the Liverpool boss has promised a strong team in Spain later.
He will be forced into at least one other change from last week's draw with Newcastle though, with Alexis Mac Allister suspended. That means Dominik Szoboszlai is likely to return to the starting line-up alongside Curtis Jones and Ryan Gravenberch in midfield.
Diogo Jota has not made the trip despite training on Monday, while Tyler Morton picked up a knock during the session which ruled him out. Federico Chiesa missed out through illness, while Ibrahima Konate, Conor Bradley and Kostas Tsimikas remain out through injury.
