Sheffield United travel to The Den to face Millwall looking to extend their lead at the top of the Championship.
Sheffield United come into this clash with Millwall having had a brilliant start to life back in the Championship. Following relegation from the Premier League last season they underwent a large rebuild that has bared fruit so far.
Chris Wilder’s side are unbeaten in eight games going into the game, winning six games during that period. They drew with West Brom last time out.
Tyrese Campbell and Callum O’Hare’s quick-fire goals gave the Blades a first-half lead before Tom Fellows’ fortunate equaliser levelled the game.

Their opponents Millwall saw their nine-game unbeaten run come to an abrupt end last time out. A 1-0 loss to Coventry City ended a brilliant run for the Lions who are chasing a playoff place this season.
They go into the game 11th in the Championship table but are now six points adrift of Blackburn Rovers in 6th place. Neil Harris’ side are now without a win in four games and with Sheffield United visiting they face a tough task to end that run.
Here, a handful of our writers make their predictions for the game…
Charlie Hodgson
“Sheffield United will be as confident going into this one. The Blades have been a standout side in the division and are as solid as ever under Chris Wilder.

“Millwall are a very strong side at home but last weekend’s defeat will have come as quite a shock given their recent form. Harris’ side will bounce back though however, they will likely struggle once again.

“I think the away side will get back to winning ways. Sheffield United are just better across the pitch and that quality will come through on Wednesday.”
Prediction: Millwall 0-2 Sheffield United
James Ray
“Millwall’s defeat to Coventry City was their first for a while and although the three draws beforehand means they’re now winless in four, they can’t afford to get down on themselves over the wait for a return to winning ways.

“These tough patches come and go in the Championship and I’m confident the Lions will be able to ride this wave and get back on track.
“That said, I don’t see them turning things around here. Sheffield United are a side in fine form and while they’ll expect a tough game at The Den, it’s one they should be confident of winning.
“I’ll say this one ends in an away win.”
Prediction: Millwall 0-2 Sheffield United
