The January transfer window is now less than a month away and Leicester City are looking to make additions.
The Foxes brought a number of new faces to the King Power Stadium over the summer but further additions are needed.
Leicester City have managed to put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone since Ruud van Nistelrooy was made manager.
However, we are still not at the halfway point of the season and it’s clear further signings will be needed to ensure the club are not in a relegation battle come May.
Van Nistelrooy provided a Leicester transfer update in his pre-Brighton press conference last week, confirming there are funds to spend in January.
This is great news for the Midlands outfit, who could do with strengthening on the wing and at the back in particular.
And Van Nistelrooy could now return to his former club, Manchester United, to improve Leicester in the winter.

However, the appointment of Ruben Amorim saw the Dutchman leave Manchester and take up his new role at Leicester.
Now though, the new Manchester United boss has green-lit the sale of two Red Devils players and the Foxes should look to snap them up.
According to a report from GiveMeSport, the ex-Sporting boss wants to move on several players in order to make room for new signings and get the club’s wage bill down.
It is added that Man Utd want to cash in on Christian Eriksen in January so they don’t lose him for nothing in the summer when his contract expires.
Brazilian winger Antony is also named as a player Amorim is looking to move on once the window opens next month.

Why Leicester City should sign Christian Eriksen and Antony
The Foxes are lacking quality wide options right now, especially as Abdul Fatawu is out for the rest of the season.
Eriksen is valued at €8m (around £6.5m) and Antony €20m (around £16.5m) by Transfermarkt, but if they are not wanted at United, they will likely be allowed to leave for less.
Antony may not have had the best stint in the Premier League so far but Van Nistelrooy showed at PSV Eindhoven he knows how to get the best out of wingers and we have already seen an improvement in Kasey McAteer’s game since Ruud took over.
As for Eriksen, Leicester are, despite some recent injury issues, fairly well-stocked in the midfield department.
But Van Nistelrooy currently does not have a midfielder like Eriksen on his books.
The Dane, despite his advanced age, is a better passer of the ball than any player in Leicester’s squad right now and would add another dimension to their play if signed.
