Manchester City winger Savinho has had some lively showings this season, but is still waiting to score his first goal for the club.
The Brazilian made a £33 million move to the Etihad Stadium from Troyes in the summer, after a highly impressive loan stint with Girona.
Savinho has probably played much more than expected, with Oscar Bobb – City’s standout player in pre-season according to Joleon Lescott – suffering a fractured leg just before the start of the new season.
He’s featured mainly on the right wing for City, and has shown flashes of his brilliance.
But the youngster has come in for some criticism recently as an attacking player who hasn’t helped Erling Haaland on the goalscoring front – and he’s now posted a message on Instagram amid his struggles in front of goal.

So far, Savinho has made 19 appearances for City across all competitions, including the Community Shield.
MORE MAN CITY STORIES
It’s been clear to see that Savinho is a tricky customer, and someone who’s quite good at beating his man.
But City fans have criticised Savinho over his finishing recently.
He is still yet to open his account for City despite playing 1153 minutes, and that is disappointing considering the positions he gets himself into.
Savinho seemingly has his struggles weighing on his mind right now, as he took to Instagram last night to send a message to fans.
He uploaded a string of photos of him doing some gym work, and wrote the caption: “No matter what, bad days pass just like anyone else.”
Savinho needs to show more for Man City
Savinho is probably still getting used to English football following his move in the summer, but the fact he’s still not scored yet is slightly disappointing.
It’s not like he’s not getting involved. It’s just that he isn’t quite providing the output expected right now.

It’ll be important that he does find his shooting boots soon, because Oscar Bobb will make his return to the first-team next month.
Bobb was looking superb in pre-season, and would have had plenty of opportunities this term had it not been for that untimely injury.
The Norwegian starlet will be a direct threat to Savinho’s minutes and so, it’s vital that the Brazilian picks up some momentum heading into January.
