Arsenal are not exactly reaching the same levels which they have been over the previous two campaigns.
Mikel Arteta’s side have pushed Manchester City right to the end over recent seasons in pursuit of the Premier League title.
However, that has not been the case this time around with Arsenal already six points adrift of Liverpool having also played an extra game.
Of course, there is still a long way to go, but Fulham were ready for Arsenal on the weekend where they sealed themselves a point.
Raheem Sterling’s move to Arsenal hasn’t worked out and the Gunners are already looking at potential upgrades for the former England international.

Ademola Lookman open to Arsenal transfer
According to GiveMeSport, Arsenal are one of the Premier League sides who are showing an interest in Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman.
It’s not just the Gunners who are keen on the former Everton player, though, with the following sides also credited with interest:
Liverpool
Tottenham Hotspur
Newcastle United
And the good news for all of these sides is that Lookman is believed to be open to a return to England after proving his worth elsewhere.
Ian Wright expects Lookman to leave Atalanta soon with the Nigeria international impressing massively over in Italy.
His former manager Brendan Rodgers hailed Lookman as ‘amazing’ earlier this year after scoring a hat-trick in the Europa League final.
“He’s an absolutely incredible young professional. To see him score the hat-trick in the final last year was absolutely amazing,” he said.
After leaving the Toffees in 2019, Lookman was nominated for the 2024 Ballon d’Or which was won by Manchester City’s Rodri.
Atalanta not expected to sell Lookman in January
TBR Football understands Atalanta are not looking to sell any players in January given their league position.
Atalanta are currently sitting top of Serie A after 15 games and the players are believed to all be on board for their title push.
Lookman is not the only player who the Gunners are said to be eyeing, with Arsenal keen on Atalanta midfielder Ederson.
But it seems as if Arteta is going to have to wait until the summer if he is going to land either of these players to upgrade his side.
