**West Ham are allowing Julen Lopetegui further time as Head Coach following the victory over Wolves last night.**
Despite our Hammers coming away with a vital 3 points, the win was far from convincing, with a significant level of luck coming from questionable officiating on the pitch and from VAR, which aided the victory over Gary O’Neil’s side.
Lopetegui was highly expected to be dismissed from his position last week following the 3-1 loss to Leicester City, however following a meeting with the club whereby the Spaniard pleaded with the club for more time, he was offered the Wolves fixture to demonstrate a sign things will turn under his leadership.
The performance in the win last night however did little to appease the vast majority, as concerns continue to linger over the appointment as the club reportedly eye a replacement should they pull the trigger.
However it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee this morning exclusively on The West Ham Way Patreon, that the club are giving Lopetegui more time. Ex advised that the message from a top senior source was:
_FOR NOW. We do NOT want to make a change, but we are not stupid and realise we have to improve. Last night was NOT a great performance and long term we have to do better._
