Four-time NBA superstar Tony Parker put a lot of thought into the superyacht he commissioned and took delivery of two years ago. Now, though, he’s on to new things, and his high-volume explorer yacht Infinity Nine has hit the market for €11,950,000 (about $12.6 million).
The yacht’s new owner will get a well-maintained, almost-new superyacht into which Parker poured years of charter experience. Parker began chartering in his 20s, starting out with smaller boats and moving up through the ranks. He always chartered with friends, so he’s accustomed to living with larger groups at sea, and he wanted to make sure Infinity Nine was comfortable for big parties.
Features like the double guest cabins (one on the main deck and a second on the upper deck) mean that the yacht is well-arranged for large groups and no one has to fight over who gets the smaller cabin.

The swim platform was also extended significantly at Parker’s request, allowing guests to have more prime real estate right on the water’s edge and have the perfect launchpad for a variety of toys and tenders.
When chartering, Infinity Nine costs €120,000 per week (about $126,582). That doesn’t include fuel, berthing, food and drinks or tips. Nonetheless, the boat has been historically popular and was booked solid throughout her first charter season in 2022.
The yacht was built by Turkish shipyard AvA Yachts. Parker chose this particular builder because it was young, ambitious and keen to compete against some of the better-established builders in the yachting space. “I recognized myself in them,” says Parker in an earlier interview. He started playing in France and had big dreams of coming to the U.S. to play professionally. The shipyard builds boats in Antalya, Turkey, and specializes in long-range, robust expedition yachts in a compact footprint. Infinity Nine is the yard’s third boat.

Beyond the yacht’s elegant exterior (which was designed in-house), the yacht is an avid adventurer. A range of 6,000 nautical miles gives her the fuel to cross the Atlantic easily, with gas left to spare. In 2025, many brokers predict that charter guests will be spending more time on board their rented yachts than ever before, and Infinity Nine has bags of internal volume that make her primed for spending extended periods on board, with space for a total of 12 guests and seven crew.
Out on deck, there’s also ample room for sunbathing. The sundeck hosts a DJ station, bar, hot tub and lounge area to create a superb spot for evenings at sea. The hot tub has an elevated position that makes it ideal for soaking in the sun and taking in the views, and since it’s surrounded by sunpads, guests can gather their entire group together to enjoy this space.

Jumping in the sea is also in the cards, since the yacht has a special ledge built into the side that acts as a mini diving board. Parker said he loved jumping off things with his family, so he specified this feature when the yacht was in the design stage.
Meanwhile, a toy locker bursts with nautical gadgets and accessories, including an inflatable obstacle course, paddleboards and Jet Skis.
The yacht’s broker, Pierre Badin, compares the amount of space found on board Infinity Nine to a 150-footer. The volume is a huge win for yacht buyers wanting to get the most from their money, and the fact that Infinity Nine is an explorer yacht makes her a big box-ticker, as well. The concept of “pocket explorers”—small yachts that can still travel far and wide—has shot up in popularity over the last few years in terms of both charter and sale. Many brokers agree that clients increasingly want to get off the beaten path, experience new parts of the world and discover more remote destinations by yacht.

Across the board, expedition yachts of all sizes continues to be one of the largest growing segments of the superyacht market. At the recent Explorer Yachts Summit, held in Monaco, it was revealed that the number of explorer yachts in build had reached record highs of 105—compared to 99 the year prior. The biggest producer of explorer yachts was an Italian yard called Cantiere delle Marche, which specializes in pocket explorers. (Full disclosure, I work for BOAT International, the company that organized the summit.)
Infinity Nine is for sale with Denison Yachting. Sounds like it could be a slam-dunk sale.
