HBO airs the second episode of this year’s special edition of in-season Hard Knocks on Tuesday — “Hard Knocks: In Season with the AFC North” — featuring the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns.
This week’s episode will feature yet another AFC North showdown between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns with absolutely no shortage of drama. In addition to HBO’s crew capturing a standard week of preparation for these two teams, who had just met in Week 12, they’re undoubtedly also bound to capture plenty of the drama taking place in the media — T.J. Watt and Myles Garrett letting the commentary about DPOY flow... George Pickens’ ongoing battle with CB Greg Newsome (which didn’t end up mattering in the grand scheme of Week 14 anyway). There’s some intriguing stuff there, even without acknowledging the exciting win for the black and gold come Sunday.
The crew will have also surely captured some of the drama surrounding the surprise inactive status for Pickens, who was listed as questionable for Week 14 but seemed likely to play nonetheless based on pregame comments from HC Mike Tomlin in an interview with CBS. How did things escalate from the potential to play in Week 14 to a grade 2 hamstring injury? Surely, Hard Knocks will provide some background as to how the drama of the week played out.
Here’s a look at how to tune into the Steelers on Episode 2 of Hard Knocks: In Season with the AFC North.
