Viktor Gyökeres is attracting interest from several top European clubs as 2025 nears, with Sporting Lisbon reportedly open to the idea of selling their star striker.
According to Foot Mercato, Luís Campos has expressed interest in Gyökeres and has already initiated talks with the striker’s representatives. However, discussions with Luis Enrique have revealed some hesitation from the coach.
This could lead the Ligue 1 side to explore other options for the No. 9 role that better align with Enrique’s vision for the team.

Recently, new information emerged on Gyökeres, who had been enjoying a stellar season with Sporting CP, but things have taken a turn in recent weeks.
Since former manager Rúben Amorim’s departure, his scoring form has dipped, and the team’s results have suffered as well. This slump has reportedly left the striker frustrated, with Correio da Manhã claiming he’s now seriously contemplating a move.
