ESPN pundit Stewart Robson believes striker Nicolas Jackson has been the biggest change in the way Chelsea play.
The Blues continued their brilliant start to the season as they came from 2-0 down to beat Tottenham 4-3 on Sunday and make it four Premier League wins in a row.
Chelsea now sit second, four points behind leaders Liverpool and two ahead of third placed Arsenal, whilst they are also top scorers in the league with 35 goals from 15 games.
Robson praises Jackson
Enzo Maresca deserves huge credit for the job he’s done since coming in and he’s really transformed Chelsea, with a number of players making significant improvements.
Jackson falls into that category and the 23-year-old has been key to Chelsea’s good start to the season, despite a lot being made of the Blues not signing a striker in the summer.
The 23-year-old has eight goals and three assists from 14 league games this season and Darren Bent feels he’s perfect for how Chelsea play.

Jackson had a lot of critics last season because of the chances he missed, but his finishing has clearly improved and it’s making a big difference.
Jamie O’Hara feels he’s developing into a really good striker and Robson believes the Senegal international has been the biggest change to how Chelsea play.
“What he does because he’s so quick and his movement is so good, and he’s a better finisher now than he was last season,” he told ESPN as cited on X.com.

“But he’s intelligent with his movement, so when he makes those forward runs and teams have to drop off, that’s when Cole Palmer can pick up the space and do all the things he wants to do, because he’s so effective there and there’s more space for him to work, but he won’t be able to do that unless Jackson wasn’t forcing the opposition back.
“So there’s a big change in Chelsea. Yes, the manager has done a brilliant job. Yes, they’re playing better. Yes, every individual is playing better, but Jackson has been the biggest change in the way Chelsea had played I would say.”
