The plaudits continue to fly in for Chelsea’s players after their comeback win at Tottenham over the weekend.
The Chelsea squad must still be on cloud nine after Sunday’s 4-3 away victory at Spurs, where they recovered from a two-goal deficit to earn another three points.
Enzo Maresca’s side are up to second place in the Premier League after a fourth consecutive win in the top flight.
The Blues owe some of their league form to the head coach rotating so much for the various cup competitions. Interestingly, Maresca could hand out eight Chelsea debuts on Thursday when they play away at Astana in the Conference League group stages.

Troy Deeney super impressed by Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez
Troy Deeney delivered a glowing verdict on Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez, 23, after his eye-catching performance away to Spurs.
The central midfielder scored a brilliant left-footed goal in the London derby, which has earned him a spot in Deeney’s Premier League Team of the Week.
Deeney told BBC Sport: “Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea). Over the past two, three or four weeks he is starting to show why Chelsea have paid £100m for him.
“He scored but if you watched the game against Spurs as intently as I did you’ll have seen his all-round play is just miles better. He is getting involved, doing the ugly stuff as well and showing those shoots of quality.”

Martin Keown says Chelsea’s Fernandez looks “unrecognisable” right now with his brilliant form this season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea supporters are accepting Fernandez is proving them wrong because of this incredible U-turn in form. It’s now three goals and six assists in his last six Blues appearances across all competitions.
The Argentine midfielder was struggling to get into the Blues XI a month ago, but he deserves full credit for improving his game and thriving under Maresca.
Troy Deeney names two Chelsea stars in Team of the Week
Along with Fernandez, Deeney also included Chelsea teammate Cole Palmer in his Premier League Team of the Week after his two-goal performance against Spurs.
Deeney told BBC Sport: “Cole Palmer (Chelsea). Mr Cool himself. I know he scored two penalties in the win against Spurs but this pick has nothing to do with them.
“When you watch this man, he is just better than everybody. He looks like he is playing in a school playground. He has a freedom and level of quality that has been unmatched this season. ‘Don’t worry about the formation or tactics, just give me the ball and get out of my way’ is his attitude. It is so refreshing to see.”
