CHELSEA will have to challenge Italian giants Juventus in the coming transfer windows if they want to sign Victor Osimhen, as the Seria A side are reportedly ready to make a move for the Nigerian star.
The 25-year-old Nigeria striker has hit the ground running in Turkey after completing a season-long loan move from Napoli to Galatasaray in September, scoring nine goals in all competitions already for the Turkish giants.
There has been alot of transfer speculation in the media that we are still interested in getting a deal done for a new striker in the January window, despite their great start to the new season, and Osimhen is a player that the club are very much interested in signing.
Now, According to Il Mattino, Juventus are keen on signing Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray, and are considering triggering his reported €75 million (£62.2m) release clause.
Despite those reports, Osimhen made it clear he doesn’t want to go anywhere in January as he wants to stay at Galasaray until the end of the season, He said: “I will not leave in January, I am at Galatasaray until the end of the season.
‘I do not know what Galatasaray and Napoli are talking about afterwards, but if they come to me, we will talk. Galatasaray is a nice club that I like very much. I am very happy at Galatasaray.”
