In a major development, it appears Barcelona are ready to hijack Real Madrid’s deal to sign the Liverpool star next summer, amidst all the rumours that the England star is eyeing up a move to La Lia.
LIVERPOOL have been doing alot of business over the last couple of transfer windows adding players to the side that will help get the club challenging for titles once again, but they are also keen to keep hold of some of their biggest players.
Alexander-Arnold has been criticized for many of his defensive displays during his time at the club , but that doesnt hide the fact that he is still one of the very best players in his position.
The England star has been the subject of much speculation amid rumours of a new contract at Anfield and interest from Real Madrid, but it seems that the Reds have no desire to let the man leave in the next few transfer windows.
The Goal website has claimed that Alexander-Arnold is one of a number of players that Liverpool do not want to see leave the club and are feverishly trying to get him to sign a new contract, but now it seems that they face a new challenge from Barcelona.
This is according to Caught Offside, which suggests that signing Alexander-Arnold has now become a priority at Barca. It appears Barcelona president Joan Laporta wants to make a statement by signing one of Real Madrid’s top targets, with the Catalans said to be ‘fully committed’ to go after the Englishman.

Alexander-Arnold is one of the best right-backs in the world and a player that all the big clubs clearly wants, so if he does not agree a move to stay at LIVERPOOL, then options to join Real Madrid or Barcelona are not bad options
