Manchester United are said to be tracking a “special” Premier League talent as Rúben Amorim looks to gather young talent at Old Trafford.
Rúben Amorim’s Manchester United are beginning to take shape, as the 39-year-old works to build a team capable of challenging for Premier League titles.
With several weeks of training and five games across domestic and Europa League competitions, the players are growing more familiar with Amorim’s 3-4-3 system, while he continues to evaluate their strengths and address areas in need of improvement.

United are also formulating their 2025 transfer strategy, with a clear focus on the summer window due to budget restrictions in January.
Recruitment is now being spearheaded by director of recruitment Christopher Vivell and technical director Jason Wilcox, following the dismissal of sporting director Dan Ashworth, though Amorim remains deeply involved in identifying the squad’s key needs.
United tracking Dibling
Last month, UtdDistrict revealed that Amorim is keen to secure two new midfielders in the summer market, one for the attacking midfield position, and one who shall play a more defensive role.
According to CaughtOffside, United have become one of many clubs who are now tracking the performances of 18-year-old midfield sensation Tyler Dibling, who has been ripping up the Premier League with Southampton.
It is claimed that United, along with Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and West Ham, have all been monitoring Dibling’s displays so far this campaign.
Further, it’s stated that Southampton have issued a price tag of around £21 million for the player, which is fantastic value for money considering the potential that Dibling currently glows with.
A “special” player
Speaking to the BBC last week, former Liverpool and Newcastle United midfielder Danny Murphy only had glowing words for the young star.
Murphy said: “It is the quality he has got – the belief in himself and the physical power. He just goes past people with ease. He has got a lovely left foot. He is very brave on the ball and his decision-making is good.
“It is difficult to get too over the top with these young players, because he has just come on to the scene, but he is going to be something special.
“It is great for him getting all these minutes at Southampton. They are giving him the freedom to play and giving him time to learn the game.
“He is just enjoying himself and he is playing with a real belief in himself. He is just instrumental in this team.”
