Manchester United have added to their ever-growing pool of youth talent by signing one of England’s most talented teenage wingers.
United’s youth side is currently dominating the league, with the Under-18s side having not lost a game so far. With a streak of 10 victories so far, United are sitting five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table.
Not only clear on points, but the Under-18s squad have an impressive +42 goal difference. James Scanlon and Gabriele Biancheri are currently leading the pack with ten and eight goals, whilst Tyler Fletcher is leading the assists with 5.
However, United have now got another young start to join the ranks of the currently undefeated side.
Academy Scoop has confirmed that The Red Devils have successfully signed Emmanuel Ziro after beating Chelsea and Arsenal to his signature.
Ziro had been playing for the grassroots side Cre8tive Football, however has taken to social media to announce his arrival.
Taking to Instagram, Ziro commented: “Firstly, I would like to thank my family for all their love, support and encouragement throughout the years.
“For as long as I can remember I’ve had a ball at my feet and enjoy the game of football. I now have the opportunity to continue doing that at the biggest club in the world, as well as the team I support.
“I look forward to continuing my journey playing for Manchester United and would like to thank everyone that has contributed to my development up until now especially @cre8tive.football. You guys are my family and I thank you for everything you have done for me up.”
