Leicester to come at rescue of struggling Chelsea star in January

Leicester City are plotting a move for one Chelsea star in January. The move can help the player to get back on track as he had a very hard start to Chelsea career and is currently struggling for game time.

The star in question here is Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall who signed for the Blues this summer. The 26 year old had a very good last season with Leicester City. He helped the foxes to gain promotion back to Premier League.

The Blues then signed Leicester boss Enzo Maresca and then quickly reunited him with Dewsbury-Hall. They paid £30 million for the English midfielder. But, the move has not went as per the plans of either party.

Dewsbury-Hall has failed to get into the starting lineup and is yet to start any Premier League game. He has played 13 games across all competitions but only averages 52 minutes per game. As a result of lack of game time, the player is said to be open to move away from Stamford Bridge after just 6 months.

Leicester to welcome back Chelsea star

As per Football Insider, Foxes are planning to welcome Dewsbury-Hall back at King Power Stadium. They have failed to find a perfect replacement for the 26 year old and hence are struggling at the moment. They are on the 16th place in Premier League and just 5 points above relegation zone.

Dewsbury-Hall was superb for Leicester last season. He scored 12 goals and picked 15 assists in 49 games for them. Leicester will like to sign him permanently but the Blues will demand £30 million as they will hope to coup all of the money they spent 6 months ago. Foxes may find it hard and hence they may opt to sign the 26 yar old on loan in January.

Live Updates

Leicester are very likely to face high competition in the pursuit of Dewsbury-Hall. Many clubs are interested to sign the 26 year old and Aston Villa are the front runners. Foxes will hope that the player prefers them over other clubs. A loan move will be good option for Dewsbury-Hall in order to play regularly at the peak time of his career.
