As Newcastle United lost 4-2 to Brentford.
The Alan Shearer Premier League team of the week:
Mark Flekken (Brentford)
Somehow denied Alexander Isak at 1-1 when the striker seemed to have an open goal, and he then supplied the second assist of his Premier League career to put Brentford 3-2 ahead.
Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace)
Scored his second goal in three matches and put in a solid shift defensively against Manchester City.
Nikola Milenkovic (Nottingham Forest)
Scored with a towering header and consistently put his body on the line at the other end of the pitch.
Antonee Robinson (Fulham)
The Fulham left-back kept Bukayo Saka quiet, which is crucial to stopping Arsenal.
Jarrod Bowen (West Ham)
Delivered when his team really needed him, providing a goal and an assist in a crucial win over Wolves.
Cole Palmer (Chelsea)
Showed unbelievable composure to score both of his penalties and make history in the process.
Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest)
A terrific performance, registering a goal and an assist as Forest earned their first victory at Old Trafford in 30 years.
Dango Ouattara (AFC Bournemouth)
Changed the game coming off the bench, setting up Enes Unal’s 87th-minute equaliser before scoring the winner in stoppage time.
Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford)
His work-rate was outstanding, and he grabbed yet another goal to continue his excellent campaign.
Yoane Wissa (Brentford)
Newcastle simply couldn’t handle him. Incredibly, he’s scored in all six of his home appearances this season.
Jamie Vardy (Leicester)
Still performing at the highest level, inspiring Leicester’s late comeback with a goal and an assist to snatch a point against Brighton.
