The 2025 Games Awards BAFTAs longlist is here, and it's packed with some phenomenal titles from the last year or so, including Baldur's Gate 3, Hellblade II and more

Baldur's Gate 3 was a huge success for developer Larian

The BAFTAs has revealed its 2025 Games Awards longlist, packing in the best games of 2024 - and some 2023 stragglers.

The list, which comprises of 58 titles released between 25 November 2023 and 15 November 2024 will fall into 17 awards categories, including 'Best Game'.

And, while some of the nominees line up with the upcoming Game Awards, there are some well-deserved entries out of left-field, too. Here's the full list.

You'll no doubt have noted that some of the titles included launched before November 2023, such as World of Warcraft, Vampire Survivors, and Baldur's Gate 3 - expect those to be up for "Best Evolving Game" if last year's awards are anything to go by.

It's curious to see no nod for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, with From Software's hefty expansion being in the running for Game of the Year at The Game Awards this year for Best Game.

Still, it's good to see the likes of Thank Goodness You're Here, Tactical Breach Wizards and Vampire Therapist represented in what has been a huge year for indies.
