Jadon Sancho and two former Manchester United stars have sent their support to Mason Greenwood after he scored the winner in Marseille's 2-0 victory over St Etienne.
Greenwood has been in good form since completing the permanent move to France in the summer. He has ten goals and two assists in 14 Ligue 1 matches with Marseille sitting just five points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
The 23-year-old hasn't played for United since January 2022 after being arrested. Charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service in February 2023 when key witnesses withdrew their cooperation.

The Old Trafford club held an internal review and claimed they believed Greenwood hadn't committed the offences with which he was charged, but attempts to reintegrate him into the United squad last August were dropped after a fan backlash, and it was made clear then that his Old Trafford career was over. He later joined Getafe on a season-long loan and secured a permanent move to Marseille this year.
Despite his time at Old Trafford coming to an end two years ago, it appears the forward still holds some friendships with players who represented United. Celebrating the win on Instagram, Greenwood posted a series of pictures from the game and wrote: "1 goal, 3 points," followed by a tick emoji.
Jadon Sancho and Teden Mengi both simply replied with a fire emoji while Shola Shoretire added: "Normal!" Meanwhile, Diogo Dalot 'liked' the post.
Since moving to Marseille, Greenwood has been linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona following his up-turn in form. Though his England career remains up in the air.
The Sun previously reported the winger holds an interest in switching his allegiances to Jamaica, who are now coached by former United assistant Steve McClaren.
