Real Madrid interested in raiding Chelsea for worldie 36-goal star

Cole Palmer has emerged as a long-term target for Real Madrid, according to Spanish publication Fichajes, and the Spaniards are reportedly lining up a move to tempt the CHELSEA midfielder to La Liga.

The England star, 22, has been one of the top performers in Europe since leaving Manchester City in the summer of 2023. Palmer has 36 goals and 21 assists in his 62 games at Chelsea, just shy of a goal contribution per appearance.

He has recently signed a massive new contract at the club – but Whether he actually stays at us for a decade remains to be seen and it has been claimed that Real Madrid are now keeping a very close eye on the attacking midfielder.

However – Madrid would likely have to stump up an astronomic fee to prize Palmer from the clubs grips as he is tied up to that long-term deal.

Blues icon William Gallas recently opened up and stunningly claimed that Cole Palmer could decide to leave Stamford Bridge for a big move like Madrid –

Speaking to Prime Casino, Gallas said: “Cole Palmer might want to leave Chelsea in the future if they don’t show they can win trophies, but where would he go? Barcelona would be a great move for him, but they have great young players already like Lamine Yamal and might also be signing Nico Williams.

“Palmer looks like he is going to have a very similar season to last year and even though he is young, it will be tough to see his friends winning trophies if he isn’t at Chelsea despite the way he is playing.

‘I won’t be surprised if he wants to speak to CHELSEA in the summer if they again fail to win a trophy. He will want to know clearly what their targets are.”
