Oliver Glasner will be delighted by his Crystal Palace side after a fourth game unbeaten passed by on Saturday.
Just a few weeks ago it was reported that Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner was confident that things at Selhurst Park would turn around.
Since then, the Eagles have drawn three and won one game – which has only resulted in a move out of the relegation zone and up into 17th place.
However, performances have arguably deserved a win in at least three of these four games – showing that Crystal Palace chiefs were correct to back Glasner amid the terrible start to this season.
Now, after drawing with Man City, Dean Henderson has been discussing various things including one way the Eagles have been working to improve.
Crystal Palace have been working on set-pieces
Recent weeks have seen things in a much more positive light for the Eagles, with Saturday’s result against Manchester City seeing the best performance yet.
In the win, Palace’s second goal came via a corner which Lacroix headed home. Now, Henderson has claimed set-pieces are something that the Eagles have been working on.

“The boys have been phenomenal, especially the backline, and for them to get goals and score from a set-piece as well, it’s something we’ve been working on a lot,” Henderson told South London Press on Monday.
“So now, hopefully, we can continue doing that and adding to the set pieces. Whoever gets the goals, it doesn’t matter. It’s important that we pick up points at this stage.”
Trying to improve on set pieces is an excellent thing for the Eagles as we have seen at Arsenal just how effective they can be. The Gunners are among the worst in the league right now offensively in open play – yet have scored from three corners in two games.

Dean Henderson thinks Crystal Palace should have beaten Man City
After praising his defenders and the scoring from a corner against City, Henderson also suggested that he was annoyed to have only drawn with the defending champions.
“It’s disappointing (to not win) because we feel like the game was there for us. We created a lot of chances, but just didn’t quite get enough on goal, and, unfortunately, that’s why we’ve come out with a draw.
“Before the game, if someone offers you a point, you’re obviously over the moon with it, so you take the rough with the smooth. It’s been a really good week, a three-game week as well.
“Today, it was tired legs out there and you could see that at the end. When they went down to 10, we didn’t quite have the energy to kick on.”
This is something we agree with, as City were well off it and poor finishing once again cost Palace. However, to draw against City makes us very confident for the upcoming fixtures and that the Eagles can push up the table.
