Enzo Maresca is surprising people both inside and outside of Chelsea, with the Italian making an impressive start to life at the club.
Under Enzo Maresca, Chelsea have managed to climb to second in the Premier League table, just two points behind Liverpool.
The Reds have a game in hand, but the fact that Chelsea are even in the conversation for the title shows just what an incredible job their manager has done so far.
Sue Smith attributed Chelsea’s win against Tottenham to Maresca after he made some game-defining tactical changes.

Enzo Maresca studying players
When Maresca is not taking charge of Chelsea training at Cobham, the 44-year-old still looks to be keeping himself busy.
According to one source speaking to journalist Simon Phillips, Maresca spends his own time studying players from both Chelsea and other clubs.
On Si Phillips Talks Chelsea, Phillips wrote: “One source said that they ‘could not believe’ how hard the Italian works and he is often there ‘out of hours’ studying his own players and other clubs’ players too.”

It seems to be paying off, with Chelsea arguably the most in-form team in the country right now.
Maresca has a big squad and has managed to keep most of his players happy. However, Carney Chukwuemeka could be set to join AC Milan after being overlooked by his boss this season.
Enzo Maresca does not think Chelsea can win the title
Despite the season approaching its halfway point and Chelsea finding themselves just four points off top, Maresca is not entertaining title talk.
The Chelsea head coach still puts his side behind Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City.
Discussing Chelsea’s chances of winning the title after the Tottenham game, Maresca told The Guardian and the rest of the English media: “The fans can dream because from the outside it is quite clear and inside the reality is we are not ready.”
If Chelsea can beat Brentford on Sunday, then neutrals are going to take the Blues even more seriously in the title race.
Brentford are only behind their west London rivals for goals scored in the Premier League this season and have caused them problems in the past.
Last term, Brentford beat Chelsea in the same fixture, winning 2-0. So it will not be an easy game at Stamford Bridge.
