Arsenal defender Gabriel is currently being assessed ahead of the Gunners’ Champions League game against Monaco.
Mikel Arteta‘s side come off the back of a 1-1 draw against Fulham at the weekend and face a game against French Ligue 1 side Monaco on Wednesday night at the Emirates.
They could be without key defender Gabriel who missed their game against Fulham and their 2-0 win against Manchester United in midweek.
Arteta said after the United game last Wednesday: “Gabi [Gabriel] was a big risk to play today because he felt something against West Ham. Sunday is going to be a possibility.
The knee injury could keep the Brazil international out for the Champions League game where Arsenal attempt to catch up to leaders Liverpool who sit five points ahead of them.
Expected return date – Wednesday 11 December vs Monaco
