Virgil van Dijk describes William Saliba using just one word
Van Dijk used just one word to describe the Arsenal star.
Saliba has been called many things over the past few years, but Van Dijk simply said ‘strength’ when he was asked to describe the Frenchman.
“William Saliba?” Van Dijk was asked.
“Strength,” Van Dijk said.
Who is the strongest player at Arsenal?
Van Dijk hailed Saliba for how strong he is, but, interestingly, Saliba isn’t said to be the strongest player at Arsenal.
Indeed, according to Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ben White is actually the strongest player at Arsenal.
Zinchenko says that White lifts more than anyone else in the gym, including Saliba.
As for who is the strongest player in the Premier League, look no further than the man who is speaking here.
Indeed, time and time again, Van Dijk has been named as the strongest player in football.
Ivan Toney said Van Dijk is the strongest player in the Premier League, Divock Origi said the Liverpool captain is one of the strongest players around, while Hakan Cahlanoglu has said similar.
Being strong is one of the most important attributes a centre-back can have, and that’s what makes Van Dijk and Saliba two of the very best defenders around.
