Bet of the Day

*Arsenal to win and both teams to score @21/10*

Arsenal may have dropped points at the weekend in their 1-1 draw with Fulham to lose ground in the Premier League title race, but the Gunners are still in a strong position to qualify automatically for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Mikel Arteta’s men have won three of their opening five European fixtures and they will be hoping that home advantage allows them to take all three points against a Monaco side who have been equally impressive on the continent.

The Gunners are yet to lose at home this season in any competition, winning eight of their 10 matches at the Emirates Stadium - including both of their Champions League contests, against PSG (2-0) and Shakhtar Donetsk (1-0).

Monaco possess an identical record in the Champions League to Arsenal, however, they head into this match on a relatively poor run of fun, with two defeats from their last three matches in all competitions.

The visitors could therefore struggle to take any points from this contest. However, Adi Hutter’s men have netted in seven of their eight away games in all competitions, so do not be surprised if they grab a consolation.

Special of the Day

*West Brom and Coventry to draw and both teams to score @18/5 to*13/5

West Brom’s current run of form is frankly unheard of, with the Baggies drawing an astonishing 10 of their last 11 matches in all competitions and another one could be in store on Wednesday.

Carlos Corberan’s men have drawn six of their nine league matches at The Hawthorns this season, five of which have come in a row in their last five fixtures here.

Coventry, meanwhile, are unbeaten under Frank Lampard, winning one and drawing another and have scored three goals so far under the former Chelsea boss.

There is enough quality on show for each side to score, but it is hard to see either side edging this contest given West Brom’s penchant for a point.

Long Shot of the Day

*Preston to win and Emil Riis to score anytime @19/4*

Preston may not be in the greatest run of form, but there have been steady signs of improvement over recent weeks and Paul Heckingbottom will believe that his side can claim a first win in 10 in all competitions on Wednesday.

The Lilywhites were the better side in their 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday last time out and they have only lost one of their last five away matches in the league.

Emil Riis netted for the visitors in that stalemate at Hillsborough last time out and he looks a good bet to score again in this contest.

The Dane has five goals to his name in the Championship this season and he will fancy his chances against a Cardiff defence that has conceded five goals across their last two home matches.
