According to inside reports, the Brooklyn Nets are willing to part ways with just about anyone this season, and that means multiple teams will be picking up the phone and giving them a call.
Evan Sidery is reporting that the trade market for Cam Johnson appears “significant.”

“The Grizzlies, Magic, Kings, Lakers, and Warriors are among the contending teams who have checked in with the Nets on their sharpshooting wing.”
Sidery added, “If Brooklyn trades Johnson, they have the market to get what they desire.”

Johnson is averaging 18.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 2024-25.
He is a 28-year-old forward who has been proving himself in Brooklyn for a few years and is ready to make a splash with another team.
Now it’s time to see what other front offices are willing to send to Brooklyn in order to get him.
The Grizzlies, Magic, Kings, Lakers, and Warriors could all use Johnson’s skills, but it won’t be easy to pry him away from the Nets.
Although Brooklyn is open to a trade, they aren’t going to send Johnson away for a paltry return.
They know they are in a place of power and will drive a hard bargain to get what they want.
So, which of these teams has enough to make Brooklyn interested?
If Johnson does leave the Nets, he might be one of many stars to part ways with the team.
The Nets are indeed going to be sellers in the months ahead, and their roster could look remarkably different after the trade deadline.
This could be a pivotal moment in Johnson’s career.
