Louis Zecevic John scored twice as Arsenal U17s commenced their Flamengo Adidas Cup campaign with a 3-1 win against Colo-Colo.
Arsenal’s first goal came after a Flamengo player diverted the ball into his own net following good work from Brando Bailey-Joseph.
Other first year scholars to feature for Arsenal included Ceadach O’Neill, Alex Marciniak and Samuel Onyekachukwu.
Some of the U16 squad were also involved, including Jack Talbot, Josh Tahou, Marli Salmon, Patrick Stachow, Teshaun Murisa and Maalik Hashi.
