Some moments are just bigger than the game. For former LSU and current Cincinnati Bengals kicker Cade York, his third extra point of the season came at the perfect moment.
During the Bengals' 27-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football, York took the field with 2:45 remaining in the first quarter. The Bengals are York's second NFL team of the season, as the Washington Commanders cut him after missing two field goal attempts in Week 1. This is also York's first season on an active NFL roster since 2022.
York was elevated form the Bengals' practice squad to the active roster on Monday for the game after starter Evan McPherson was ruled out with a groin injury.
"[York] has been out there looking for a job, and he gets it here," ESPN broadcaster Joe Buck said. "While his girlfriend, Zoë Dale, is on the sideline. She's a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader."
York lined up the extra point attempt and nailed it before the camera cut to a relieved Dale.
"Thank you, Lord, thank you," Dale said with the camera in her direction, before letting out a laugh. "Praise God. Praise God."
Buck then added another nugget about the interaction.
"Cade said she'd be rooting for him," Buck said.

York ended the night going 2-for-2 in field goal attempts and 3-for-3 on extra point kicks, as well.
York was a part of the Tigers' 2019 national championship team and The 33rd Football Team highlighted the fact the trio of Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and York went 15-0 at LSU. Now, the trio is 1-0 in the NFL.
The kicker is from McKinney, Texas, an approximate 40-minute drive from Dallas.
