LIVERPOOL have made an opening offer of a new contract to Mohamed Salah as they finally look to tie their Egyptian winger down to a new deal and end all the speculation regarding his immediate future at Anfield.

LIVERPOOL have been doing alot of business over the last couple of transfer windows adding players to the side that will help get the club challenging for titles once again, but they are also keen to keep hold of some of their biggest players.

Sane has developed into one of the best attackers in the Bundesliga over the past few seasons after making the decision to Leave Man City for the Bundesliga, but there has been alot of speculation regarding his immediate future.
The German has been in contract talks with Bayern for quite some time now, but has failed to agree a new deal with the club, meaning that Bayern chiefs are ready to cash in one of their best players, and let stars go that wants more money than what the club are prepared to pay.
Bayern director Max Eberl has reportedly initiated contract talks with the player, however, the club are planning to offer a performance-based deal, though no formal offer has been presented.
Sane is ready to take a pay cut and stay back at Allianz Arena but at the moment the Bayern bosses seem disinterested in the player, and the likes of LIVERPOOL and Arsenal have been linked with bringing him back to the Premier League.
Now Plettenberg has claimed that Sane could leave the club for free next summer – He said: ‘A free transfer of Leroy #Sané in the summer can no longer be ruled out!
‘Some decision-makers at FC Bayern would not oppose a sale in the winter, although this is currently not a topic for Sané. Max Eberl is holding talks about an extension with a performance-based contract, but no concrete plans have been presented yet. The player does not have a written offer on the table.
‘His priority is to stay at FC Bayern beyond 2025, and he would also be willing to accept a pay cut for that. But Sané has also noticed that the club’s bosses hardly, if at all, mention him publicly when discussing a new contract.’
