Duval Rundown: Ranking top Jaguars players to watch rest-of-season

Check out episode 41 of Duval Rundown, hosted by Gus Logue.

Gus was joined by 1010XL radio host and Jaguars play-by-play voice Frank Frangie to discuss which Jacksonville Jaguars players they’re most interested in watching for the rest of the season.

Brian Thomas Jr. is at the top of the list. He’s one of six NFL players with 850-plus receiving yards and 6-plus receiving touchdowns this season. The 23rd overall pick is only 14 yards away from breaking Justin Blackmon’s rookie franchise record.

“Definitely one of the most polished rookies I’ve ever been around,” Evan Engram said Monday. “Very locked in and focused. Very mature to be a rookie in this league, especially at receiver.”

“Sky’s the limit for him. He’s a playmaker for us. He has great releases; he runs great routes. He has a lot of really small, really good details about his game ... We’ve seen how explosive he can be. I think he’s the fastest ball carrier this year. The list can go on. The future’s bright for him. He’s rolling right now. We’ve got to continue to get him the ball. He was a big part of our success in the second half as well yesterday.”

Duval Rundown is streamed live onYouTube,Facebook andX/Twitter every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday (immediately following each game). It’s also available as apodcast.
