Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has once again turned down the opportunity to return to management after one club reached out to him, according to stunning reports.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been out of the managerial dugout since 2021 after he was axed from Manchester United after a poor start to the 2021-22 campaign.
The 51-year-old Norwegian initially returned to Old Trafford in 2018 as caretaker manager after former United boss Jose Mourinho was sacked.
Solskjaer enjoyed a scintillating run as caretaker manager and the United legend’s appointment as head coach was made permanent in 2019.
The former United star enjoyed high points during his managerial reign, including leading the Red Devils to second place in the 2020-21 Premier League season.
Solskjaer fell short of lifting major silverware at Old Trafford as United manager after the Red Devils lost the 2021 Europa League final to Villarreal on penalties.

The United legend has not ruled out a return to management in the future and Solskjaer has flirted with the idea of heading back into the dugout.
According to Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang (VG) , Solskjaer was contacted by former club Molde over a potential third spell at the Norway-based side.
The former Norway international was at Molde as a player when Sir Alex Ferguson signed him for United in 1996.
Solskjaer returned to the club as a manager in 2011 and took charge of Molde until 2014 before he left for his ill-fated spell at Cardiff City.
Following his departure from Cardiff City, the former United manager would serve his second spell as head coach at Molde in 2015 until his Old Trafford return in 2018.

Why did Molde approach Solskjaer?
VG reports that Erling Moe had been sacked as Molde manager after leading the Norwgian outfit to fifth place and suffering a cup final defeat.
Molde will be without European football next season and club chairman Leif-Arne Langoy ‘called’ Solskjaer after Erling Moe was dismissed.
However, the Norwegian outlet reportedly claims that Solskjaer provided ‘notice’ that it would not be ‘appropriate’ for him to take the managerial role.
According to VG, it is claimed that Solskjaer would be ‘open to taking other’ managerial roles if ‘is interesting enough’ for him.
